In the International Coaching Week 2022 opening, we bring you two events in person at the Singapore Recreation Club.


Doors open at 8.30 am, where you can enjoy views over the Padang from St.Andrews Terrace on Level 3 of SRC before heading inside at 9 am where ICF Singapore's President, Adrian Lim, will officially open the week's conference.


Our first event, The Future of Coaching by Kevin Kan & Tonya Echols, starts at 9:05 am.


We will break for networking, tea/coffee, and snacks before our 2nd event, Coaching in the Family - Friend or Foe? by Bryan Tan, Edwin Choy, and Sharon Kon, at 10:30 am.

    Kevin Kan is a multi-award-winning Professional Coach, mentor & business leader.


    As an elected member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Coaches Global Board of Directors, he currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives. In this role, he looks for strategic ways to increase member enrolment, retention & value. He also looks at member engagement and how to grow the professional coaching profession for the benefit of the community we serve. To do this, Kevin leverages experiences, knowledge & relationships from an international career spanning over 30 years in corporate and multinational organizations. He has held management consulting and senior executive management positions in organizations including AIMIA, American Express, Hewlett-Packard (HP), IBM, PwC Consulting, KPMG Consulting and Solution 6.



    Kevin has a Bachelor's degree in Economics (majoring in Accounting & Information Systems) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, Chicago, USA. He is a Chartered Accountant, a member of CPA Australia & Singapore Human Resources Institute and is a Mentor Coach & Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialed with ICF.

    She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialed by the International Coach Federation (ICF), of which she is a Director of the Professional Coaches Global Board and Past President of the ICF Georgia Chapter. Tonya has over 25 years of experience in corporate management, digital and traditional media, technology, finance, coaching, and leadership development. She works with numerous organizations across a variety of industries, including Fortune 500 companies. With a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and as a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee in Business Administration-Accounting, Tonya is doctoral candidate in Leadership Psychology from William James College.

    He is a certified ICF coach at the PCC level. Edwin has spoken in many conferences and numerous radios on fathering and parenting issues for the last 20 years. He has also developed a training to help parents learn how to coach their children in the last 8 years called "Parent as Coach" which has had overwhelming positive feedback.

    Edwin also trains Solution Focused Coaches in their ICF certification with the Academy of Solution Focused Training owned by Debbie Hogan. He has been training middle managers in schools and education sectors for the last 10 years.
