Welcome to Day 1 of International Coaching Week 2023.

We are excited to bring you three in-person events at the Singapore Recreation Club. Doors will be open from 1.30pm, providing an opportunity for you to reconnect with attending ICF members before the event officially begins at 2pm. We aspire to uplift and inspire you through the sessions led by our generous speakers and sponsors and hope that you come away from the event feeling elevated.

    Magdalena Nowicka Mook

    CEO of International Coaching Federation

    Magda is the CEO of the International Coaching Federation. She acts as a strategic partner of ICF’s leadership, including the Board and a variety of committees and task forces. Specializing in strategic planning, cultural competence, ethics, international affairs, and board governance, also oversees organizational budgets and manages the professional staff of the ICF. Magda is also a trained coach – she received her training from the College for Executive Coaching and also holds a certificate in the Fundamentals of Systemic Coaching.

    Magdalena brings over a decade of experience in fundraising, consulting, and association management. Before joining International Coach Federation in October 2005, Magda held the position of Assistant Director of National Policy and Director of Development and the Council of State Governments, a national association of state officials in all three branches of government.

    Originally geared towards medical studies, Ian took on a totally different path in university and eventually embarked on a career in banking, leading countries and enabling deals across Asia, Europe, and US. After leadership stints, including an overseas posting, with global banks like Bank of America and HSBC, Ian is now Managing Director and Group Head, International Management, at UOB. In this role, he is responsible for the international banking entities, venture management, global capital, and foreign direct investment advisory divisions.
    A certified chief master coach, Ian strives to bring out the best in people and advocates for organizations to foster strong mentoring and coaching cultures so as to grow sustainably and purposefully.
    He writes about personal inspirations, experiences, and learnings that colleagues and connections may find helpful as they navigate their career and life journeys, especially in today’s “business as UNusual” environment.
