Djembe session with Human Rhythms

As an interactive and fun session to facilitate team bonding, Human Rhythms will facilitate a program that helps your people become more engaged in the proceedings and so contribute more effectively towards a successful group outcome.
When people feel good, they work at their best. Upbeat moods make people view others – or events – in a more positive light. That, in turn, helps people feel more optimistic about their ability to achieve a goal, enhances creativity and decision making skills. It also predisposes people to be helpful. Transactional Analysis, or TA, is a form of psychotherapy encompassing the theory of human personality and is a system for the improvement of personal functioning and human relations. As such it is useful in both clinical settings in the treatment of disorders where clients seek to alleviate their distress, and in coaching via elevation of the client’s ability to build on what is good for themselves. During the session, core topics within TA will be introduced including Ego States, Transactions and Strokes, and Life Scripts, with exploration of the Archetypogram adapted from TA theory.

By the end of the session, we aim to be able to
1. Construct a simple ego state model with an awareness of subsequent structural analysis of personality
2. Understand transactions and strokes
3. Have awareness of what Life Scripts are and how they can lead to Games
4. Apply the Archetypogram to crisis situations

This session has been approved for 0.5 CCE units in Core Competency and 0.5 units in Resource Development

As coaches, we understand one of the most basic principles of coaching is that situations will never change unless we change. It was the Greek philosopher Heraclitus (535 - 475 BC) who reminds us that "The only constant is change". This is a very empowering philosophy that we need to embrace in the work that we do and to the people that we want to impact.

In this session, coaches will be encouraged to start their transformational journey as better coaches by elevating their mindsets in 5 key domain areas. The 5 key domain areas include:
1) elevate your purpose and transform your life
2) elevate your leadership and transform your team
3) elevate your relationships and transform your community
4) elevate your habits and transform your health
5) elevate your goals and transform your reality

This session has been approved for 0.25 CCE units in Core Competencies and 0.75 CCE unit in Resource Development.
