In this session Professor Jonathan Passmore will explore the role of reflection as part of the developmental journey of coaches.


He will talk about different theories of reflection, and how these can enhance self awareness before sharing a model which coaches can use in preparing for their supervision sessions with their clients or as coaches preparing.


The session will be linked to the ICF Developing a Coaching Mindset competency and will also draw on material in Becoming a Coach: The Essential ICF Guide (2nd edition).

    Professor Jonathan Passmore is a chartered psychologist, executive coach, supervisor and team coach. He holds five degrees and three professional qualifications. He has previously worked for PWC, IBM and OPM, and is now Professor of Coaching & Behavioural Change at Henley Business School, UK and Senior VP EZRA. He has published 40 books with 4 new books appearing this year (2024): The Digital & AI Coaches Handbook (May), The Health & Wellbeing Coaches Handbook (September), and Becoming a Team Coach: The Essential ICF Guide (November) and a new book scheduled for December on securing ICF Master Coach accreditation. He has also published more than 250 scientific papers and book chapters on coaching, leadership and change management over the past 25 years.
